A Half Birthday!

We celebrated Lorelai's half birthday by having half a cake and singing happy half birthday to you! And we bought her a few presents and took her out to dinner....haha that's not true about the presents and dinner . We really just sang happy birthday scarfed down a piece of cake and daddy was on his way upstairs to study.

I can't believe Lorelai is already 6 months old. Time has gone so quickly and she has changed and grown so fast. We are so blessed to have such a sweet spirit here in our home. It makes me a little sad to think how quickly the time is going but there are things about each stage of her life that I have loved. 

Cuddling in bed when she was newborn. She would fall asleep on my chest and we would sleep the early morning hours that way.

Making her smile and listening to her babble in the car while I am driving.

One of my favorites is when she gets so excited she starts kicking and and flailing her arms at the same time. I love it.

Laughing. She is hard to get a laugh out of but when you do it's the best sound in the world.

And now she is rolling all over the place and trying so hard to move and go places.

We have loved each stage of her life and would love it even more if she would not still sleep like a newborn:) but really we have been so blessed with such a sweet baby .

Happy half a birthday and thanks for giving mom and dad an excuse to eat cake!
